Where ranks come from
- The App Store's own search results, per country, in the order shown on an iPhone, up to #250 (fewer when Apple returns fewer). Below that you see "not yet" instead of a guess.
- 175 App Store countries. Each keyword is tracked per country, because each country ranks differently.
- You paste your app's App Store link. No keys or permissions are needed.
How often each keyword is checked
- A new keyword is checked immediately.
- Every tracked keyword is checked every night. Each country is scanned in its own night, around 03:00 local time.
- You can also ask for a refresh on demand.
Estimates, labelled as estimates
- Popularity is estimated from App Store search suggestions. Since late 2025 Apple Ads reports most long-tail terms as 5, so every tool estimates these.
- Competition is estimated from the apps in the top results.
What you see
Rank history with 90 days of daily checks, with markers on the days a tracked app changed its name, subtitle, icon or version. Competitors sit next to you, and your keyword data exports as CSV. See the rank tracker for the full picture, or how often rankings update for background.
